The first of the spinoffs to be based in the UK, will follow Managing Director, Ben Davies, Head of Operations, Emma Penhallurick, and the rest of the team as they showcase some of Belvoir Swansea’s luxury homes, brought to the market by the firm’s premium property brand, Belvoir The Collection.
This comes after The Times cited Mumbles in Swansea as ‘one of the best places to live’, attracting producers from the reality TV show which has become a worldwide phenomenon since it first aired in 2019.
Ben Davies, Managing Director of Belvoir Swansea said: “We’re ecstatic to be putting Swansea on the map by bringing Belvoir to TV screens across the world, with the launch of Selling Swansea.
“This is a huge step for us, and we can’t wait to show off some of the incredible luxury homes that we bring to the market and offer a behind-the-scenes insight into our day running Belvoir The Collection.”
Emma Penhallurick, Head of Operations at Belvoir Swansea said: “Selling Sunset is a firm favourite amongst our staff, and we were honoured to be joining the cast for the first UK spinoff, set right here in Swansea.
“It’s been a really difficult secret to keep, given the success of the original series, and we just can’t wait to show off the unbelievable luxury homes in our Belvoir The Collection portfolio.”
Selling Swansea is yet to be given a release date, but production has begun across Swansea, Sketty and Mumbles, branching away from the Oppenheim Group, which has been the focus of the previous seasons on Netflix.
April fool!
A spokesperson for Belvoir said: “Even though we could give Davina’s $75million Selling Sunset listing a run for its money with the incredible properties we bring to market through Belvoir The Collection… we won’t be heading to Netflix any time soon.
“You’ll just have to carry on keeping up with us on our socials instead!”
