Based on Dillwyn Road in Sketty, The Coaching Club has created a space where people can train, connect and thrive.

Established by Jessica Rose and Gareth Beer – the sole founder of Titan Conditioning – the club was helped to set up thanks to a Swansea Council transforming county placemaking grant through the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Over the last 12 months, The Coaching Club has become a thriving fitness community that brings people together through strength training, events and tailored coaching for all abilities.

Gareth has been key to the club’s coaching excellence. With elite strength and conditioning expertise, he ensures safe, effective training.

As a competitor and leader, Gareth led over 50 Titan Conditioning and Coaching Club members to compete in the latest 2025 Winter London Turf Games.

Most finished in top 20 positions, with Gareth’s own team taking first place in the intermediate category.

Designed and led by Jessica, a ladies only strength club has also been launched to highlight the important role of resistance training for women – especially those navigating menopause.

The club also recently hosted an in-house International Women’s Day competition as a celebration of female strength and camaraderie.

Jessica said: “One of the club’s greatest successes since starting-up has been an ability to foster a supportive and motivating environment.

“Many of our founding members have been with the gym since day one, which is  testament to the quality of coaching.

“The Coaching Club has also become known for its vibrant community and engaging events, which have helped our members form strong bonds both inside and outside the gym.

“We’d like to thank Swansea Council for their grant support because it’s made a real difference to our club.”

The club’s plans for 2025 include a men’s club that will provide a space for men to focus on strength and overall training, while also helping boost their mental health.

Led by Lowri Thomas – founder of Sano Osteopathy – a mobility club is also planned to improve flexibility, movement and injury prevention.

Other plans include tailored coaching for those looking to compete in the growing fitness racing event, Hyrox, for the first time or to improve their performance.

Gareth said: “As the Coaching Club enters its second year, it remains committed to delivering high-quality coaching, fostering an inclusive fitness environment, and continuing to expand its offerings.

“The first year has set the foundation for something truly special, and the future looks even brighter.”
