South Wales Police investigating racist graffiti on a mural in Port Talbot have arrested two teenage boys on suspicion of racially and religiously aggravated criminal damage.
The mural, celebrating the town’s Caribbean community, was defaced with Nazi images and racial slurs on 28 October. It has since been repainted.
The teenagers arrested today (8 November) from Port Talbot and Tonyrefail, have been taken to Queens Road police station in Bridgend where they are being questioned.
Police say a number of property searches are currently being completed.

Superintendent Stephen Jones from South Wales Police said: “Hateful behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated.
“I want to reassure the local community that a full investigation is being undertaken with a view to ensuring those responsible are held fully accountable for their abhorrent actions.”
