The Bumbles of Honeywood programme brings educational enterprise to life through unique
partnerships and covers key life skills, Enterprise and employability, Health and wellbeing
and Global citizenship and the importance of environmental responsibility and being sustainable in all aspects of work and life.
The Grange Primary School in Swansea was partnered with The Secret Hospitality Group in 2021 and ever since both the school and the business have continuously looked for ways to grow the partnership beyond The Bumbles of Honeywood Programme.
The children at The Grange Primary School put these learnings into action on a recent beach clean in Swansea Bay, collecting nearly 7kg of rubbish, with key finds being fireworks, caps off e-cigarettes and nails off old pallets.
The Secret Hospitality Group was on hand mid beach clean with hot chocolate for the
children with of course cream and marshmallows.

Amy Khune – Foundation Learning Leader at The Grange Primary School, West Cross, Swansea said:
“Since the beginning of partnership with The Secret Hospitality Group, our pupils have gained so many invaluable experiences through their enterprising and creative learning, yet we felt it was important for the pupils to also understand that businesses also have a wider responsibility within the community.
“By supporting The Secret Hospitality Group’s beach clean efforts, it has showcased to our pupils the bigger picture surrounding running a business.
“Our pupils are very ethical and informed, so have been extremely passionate about supporting the beach cleans. It has inspired them in many ways, we now have plans to regularly support beach cleans in our local area.”
