Police appeal for information after a person died in early hours Swansea collision


South Wales Police are appealing for information after a person died in a single vehicle collision in the early hours of Sunday morning (1 August).
A black Vauxhall Insignia was involved in the collision at the junction of Carmarthen Road and Kingsway, the entrance to the Swansea West Industrial Estate at Fforestfach, around 3.50am.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
In a statement on social media, South Wales Police said: “We are keen to speak to any witnesses that may have travelled through the area in the minutes after the collision, or witnesses to the manner of driving of a black Vauxhall Insignia.”
“If anyone was a witness, or has dash cam footage that may assist the investigation, please contact us.”
