Swansea’s own Titan Conditioning and The Coaching Club made waves at the London Summer Turf Games 2025, one of the UK’s biggest and most competitive functional fitness festivals with over 5,000 athletes taking part. Held over the weekend, the event brought together thousands of athletes from across the country to test their strength, endurance, and teamwork across multiple categories.

Titan took seven teams to London, showcasing not only the scale of the club’s growing community but also the depth of talent being developed right here in Swansea. It was a huge day of competition—and celebration—for the gym, ending with three teams reaching the podium.

In the Everyday Male category, Titan’s team delivered a standout performance, taking 1st place and setting the tone for the day.

Titans founder and coach Gareth Beer led his Intermediate Mixed team to an impressive 2nd place finish, while fellow coach and Coaching Club co-founder Jess Rose guided her Everyday Female team to 3rd place.

For Gareth, the moment was especially meaningful. Three of the women on Jess’s team had been coached by Gareth since the very beginning of their fitness journeys back in 2022. Watching them step onto the podium after years of commitment and growth was a proud highlight of the weekend.

Other standout performances came from Titan’s Coaching Club members —Emily Baker, Laurie Nathaniel, and Amber Williams—who competed alongside Open Club athletes Olivia Kings and Grace Hannaford. Grace joined the team just a day before the event and managed to deliver one of the strongest performances on the Turf.

“This weekend was a massive win, not just in terms of medals, but in what it represents for fitness in Swansea,” said Gareth. “To see so many of our athletes competing, supporting one another, and pushing themselves out of their comfort zones on a national stage—it’s everything we stand for as a club.”

With three podium finishes and seven teams proudly representing the club, Titan Conditioning and The Coaching Club has firmly placed itself on the national fitness map—while continuing to grow a strong, inclusive, and inspiring community right here in Swansea.

To celebrate 12 years of Titan Conditioning, the gym is hoping to run their own “Titan Games” towards the end of this year which will be accessible for all abilities to take part and enjoy a day of fitness in their home grounds.
