Ammanford boy arrested after making threats with gun

Police have arrested a teenage boy in Ammanford after threats involving a firearm had been made.

The boy remains in custody after police recovered a BB gun at an address in the Ammanford area.

A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “An arrest has been made in the Ammanford area overnight, following threats involving a firearm.

“A warrant was executed at an address in the area, and police have recovered a BB gun.

“The teenage boy remains in police custody.”

The latest incident comes just hours after a teenage girl was arrested for attempted murder after allegedly injuring two teachers and a teenage girl with a knife at an Ammanford school.
