Owners of popular eatery and takeaway Uplands Diner have spoken out to reassure customers after reports that the business was up for sale.
Lance Perdue spoke to Swansea Bay News to reiterate that the diner remains open.
“Some people thought that we had put the business up for sale and shut” said Lance.
“This is not the case. We are open, and we will stay open and serve our loyal customers until the day we sell.”
Lance is reluctantly looking to sell the business as he retires due to a period of ill health.
The iconic Uplands Diner has been a feature of the city for the past 30 years, and is famous for their MegaBeast breakfast.
The meal consists of an incredible 10 rashers of bacon, 8 sausages, 5 fried eggs, 4 slices of bread and butter, 4 slices of toast, 4 slices of fried bread, 2 slices of black pudding, 2 hash browns, bubble and squeak, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms and chips.
The iconic Uplands business is being advertised by specialist advisors HiltonSmythe for £299,995.
