South Wales Police say a 30 year-old man and a 34 year-old have been bailed for further enquiries.

Three teenagers, ages 17, 18 and 19 remain in Police custody.

Police say that all those involved are known to each other.

A large Police presence remained outside Penyrheol Leisure Centre and Comprehensive School for much of the morning of the attack as an area outside the building was cordoned off.

Headteacher Damian Benney emailed worried parents to reassure that the assault had nothing to do with any member of the school community.

He added that it is totally unrelated to any previous events in the community.

The attack comes just two months after a 14 year-old boy was stabbed at Gorseinon bus station. Four teenagers aged 14 and 15 were arrested in relation to that incident.
