The 60‑second survey ran over Parliament’s summer recess and asked people to share their biggest concerns about the local area, as well as what they value most about living in Swansea.
Early results show that improving the NHS was the most common priority for respondents. When asked what makes them proud of Swansea, the most frequent answers were “kind people” and “beautiful natural surroundings”.
Mr Bell’s office will now analyse the responses in more detail, with a full report due to be published later this year.
Torsten Bell said:
“I’ve been blown away by the response to this survey. Hundreds of people have submitted thoughtful and considered insights on the biggest challenges our community faces, as well as the best things about living in Swansea. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time.
Residents of Swansea West want to see real improvements to our city and I’ll be working every day to deliver them. There’s a lot to be done, but I truly believe that if we continue to work together, we can make a difference.”
