The pub, which is part of the Proper Pubs division at Admiral Taverns, has undergone a complete transformation and now boasts a brand-new look and fresh décor to appeal to all the local community.
Inside, it has retained all the traditional Victorian characteristics but features new flooring, furniture, fixtures and fittings throughout to modernise the overall look and feel.
Outside, the pub hosts brand new lighting and signage as well as a heated outdoor area seating up to 18 people.

To celebrate the reopening, customers got to enjoy a live performance from local band, Electronica, on Friday 1st December.
Operator of the St George, Andy Simons, said: “Opening night was fantastic, it was amazing to see all our customers, old and new, coming to see what the pub has to offer!
“The feedback we received from our community was amazing, and we can’t wait to see them again soon!”
On top of the wide range of drinks offers, including cocktails, wine and fizz promotions, the St George features five flat screen televisions complete with Sky Sports, TNT and horse racing channels. In addition, it hosts a brand-new pool area and stage which will be used for weekend entertainment including vocalists, DJ sets and karaoke. Moving forward, the operators hope to introduce regular quiz nights and support local housing charity, Shelter Cymru, located just two doors down from the pub.
Matthew Gurney, Operations Director for Proper Pubs, said: “The refurbishment at the St George looks fantastic – the team has worked really hard to ensure it is a success for the local community.
“On behalf of the Proper Pubs team, we would like to wish our community heroes, Andy and Matt, every success for the future in making the St George a fantastic hub of the community.”
