The team at Belvoir Swansea are boycotting their beds for a great cause.

On July 9, they will swap their comfy beds for a more unusual night-time set-up, and will instead sleep in their cars, gardens, or even on the office floor- all to raise money for Action for Children.

The award-winning estate agent, with offices in Swansea Marina, Mumbles and Sketty, has committed to host and participate in a variety fundraising activities for the charity across the next 12 months.

Action for Children is an invaluable lifeline for many vulnerable families across Swansea.  It offers practical and emotional support to families across the region, as well as offering extra services such as play sessions, speech therapists, health interventions and parenting programmes.

Commenting on Belvoir’s commitment to the charity, Managing Director, Ben Davies, said: “We’re a family-run business and a lot of our staff have children, so being able to support families in the communities we’re part of is so important to us.

“The pandemic has particularly had a negative impact on children and many families have found it difficult to provide the day-to-day necessities for their children to be comfortable and happy. Action for Children provides an essential support system for so many families across Swansea and we’re proud to support them in any way we can.”
