A driving force over the last two seasons, Kellaway has enjoyed a standout 2025 season for the county so far.
In the Rothesay County Championship, the 21 year old Welshman has scored 813 runs with an impressive average of 54.20; including two centuries and four fifties.
With ball in hand, Kellaway has taken 25 Championship wickets to date, featuring two five-wicket hauls alongside his 10 wickets in the T20 Vitality Blast.
His form and consistency also resulted in a Welsh Fire draft call-up this summer, with Kellaway deservedly taking the ‘Hero of the Match’ award on his debut against Birmingham Phoenix.
A member of the Glamorgan Pathway scheme, Kellaway signed his Glamorgan rookie contract in 2023, with his professional debut coming via the One-Day Cup the same year.
Through his long-term association with the county, he made his debut for Glamorgan via the club’s Second XI in 2021, having played for Wales National Counties as a 15-year-old in 2019. Kellaway also won the inaugural ECB T20 Cup with the Wales Under-18 team in 2022.
On signing his new contract, Kellaway said:
“I’m extremely excited to be continuing my journey here at Glamorgan for the next three years.
“From joining the pathway over a decade ago to now representing the Club is a very proud achievement for myself. I’m looking forward to what can be achieved at the Club on both a team and personal level over the next few seasons.”
Glamorgan’s Director of Cricket, Mark Wallace added:
“Ben is one of the most exciting young players in the country and we’re delighted that he’ll be continuing his development at Glamorgan for the next three years.
“Ben is a perfect example of our new strategy that focuses on developing players capable of playing franchise and international cricket.
“He’s come through our Pathway into Glamorgan and franchise representation, showing how he can significantly impact games with bat, ball and in the field. We look forward to him doing that at Glamorgan, and at higher levels for years to come.”
