Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted at Carmarthen railway station.
The attack happened at around 8.30pm on Friday 15 May, when a man approached the woman at the station and directed a series of sexualised comments at her.
He then sexually assaulted her before she left the station, British Transport Police said.
The force released two CCTV images on Thursday (2 July) — almost seven weeks after the assault.
They show a man in a dark padded jacket and blue trainers, carrying a rucksack — one image taken at a platform shelter with a phone in his hand, the other a closer view.
Detectives said they would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 703 of 15 May.
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
British Transport Police is the force responsible for policing the rail network across England, Scotland and Wales, including stations across west Wales.
The force has run national campaigns targeting sexual offences and harassment on the railway, warning offenders that sexually motivated behaviour on the network will not go unnoticed.
Crimes or concerning behaviour on trains and at stations can be reported as they happen by texting 61016, or by speaking to a police officer or member of rail staff.
Support is available for anyone affected by sexual assault — the Live Fear Free helpline (0808 80 10 800) offers free, 24-hour support across Wales.
