Read on for a preview of and tips for the Ffos Las card, courtesy of Bet Victor Online Casino, who have all the horse racing odds.
2.10 – Six-furlong handicap
Sixtygeesbaby had plenty in hand when winning last time so should be able to defy a 5lb penalty. He remains thrown in on his novice form and could prove a class apart from these.
Safari Dream was a game winner last time and has only gone up 2lb. He’s another who remains well treated on his old form and can fill the places with Liosa who has been running well of late.
2.45 – Seven-furlong handicap
Oviedo was backed to cash in on his much reduced mark last time and duly obliged. Though he’s been raised another 5lb for that he remains thrown in on his old form so is fancied to follow up.
Fellow last time out winner Kaleidoscope Eyes is feared most given her excellent record at this venue while last year’s winner Cypriot Diaspora will also be a threat and saves her best for the venue. The C&D winner has been running back into form here recently and remains 9lb below his last winning mark.
3.20 – Seven-furlong maiden stakes
Korbut is in danger of becoming frustrating but she has shown a consistent level of form on the all-weather and turf this year. Her penultimate runner up effort has been franked emphatically and a repeat would be enough to get off the mark here.
Likeness has struggled on both of her starts this term but sets the standard on her two-year-old form so may be the biggest danger.
3.55 – Seven-furlong handicap
Gal was disappointing last time but the form of her previous victory has worked out very well and she’s only 1lb higher here. With more experience in the saddle she is picked over last time out winner Diamond Ali who remains on a fair mark but may not be ideally suited by the drop back in trip.
The step up in distance could suit Follow My Heart who has been performing with credit over sprint trips and may complete the tricast.
4.30 – One-mile- two- furlong Classified Stakes
Gert Lush can stamp her class on this. A former winner off 67 she has been running into form off a much reduced mark of late and takes another significant drop in grade.
Lapidarist remains a maiden, but she proved her stamina for 10f as well as her ability on turf last time. This track should suit and she can gain a place alongside Charencey who has been running well in similar events over middle distances recently.
5.02 – One-mile– four- furlong handicap
An open race where a number of open to further improvement. Atalanta Mist has been thriving on fast ground recently steadily improving as her trip increases and looks ready to finally shed her maiden tag.
Saxophonic has looked a strong stayer at 10-11f and will appreciate the extra distance here. He’s unexposed and could prove the main danger in first time cheekpieces ahead of the consistent Buck Barrow who has a good record here.
