The donation of gardening supplies, which includes a selection of tools, kneeling pads and gloves, will support the primary school’s development of its outside garden space, helping pupils to learn how to grow their own food and plant flowers to attract insects.
Elisa Davis, Assistant Headteacher at Carway Primary School, commented: “Aiming to teach pupils more about wildlife, our project will help the children to learn more about how to grow food and encourage a variety of insects to visit the garden as it comes to life. We’d like to thank Dandara for the donation of the gardening kits, as this will help us look after and potentially expand our garden.”
Sara Taylor, Sales Director at Dandara Wales & West, said: “We are pleased to support Carway Primary School, located nearby to Golwg Gwendraeth, with their outdoor learning. We hope all the pupils enjoy getting outside with their new equipment and learning lots about gardening, as having a green thumb is a very important skill!”

The housebuilder say they are offering a range of incentives at Golwg Gwendraeth to help potential buyers get onto the property ladder including Help to Buy, Armed Forces discount and Dandara’s Moving Made Easy and Assisted Move schemes.
Dandara adds that its Golwg Gwendraeth development in Carway is perfect for country lovers, close to tranquil walks and woodland areas such as Coed Ffos Las. Llanelli, along with its multiple supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and pubs is just a short drive away.
Those who fancy a fun day out will not have to walk far as Ffos Las Racecourse is on the developments’ doorstep, and Glyn Abbey Golf Club is only half a mile away for a competitive game of golf.
The developer is currently marketing two, three and four bedroom homes, with prices from £199,9995 for a two bedroom property.
