Housebuilder to launch two new sites in Pembrey and Ystradgynlais this weekend

Persimmon Homes has announced the launch of two residential developments: Awel Y Mynydd in Pembrey and Maes Y Rhos in Ystradgynlais.

The developer says the sites will offer a wide range of homes in sustainable communities, catering to the diverse needs of homebuyers, especially young families and first-time buyers who otherwise might struggle to get onto the housing ladder locally.

Awel Y Mynydd, located in Pembrey, boasts a total of 100 plots offering a variety of two, three, and four-bedroom homes.

Prospective buyers will have the chance to find out more during the launch event on Saturday, 8 July at the sales cabin located opposite the entrance to the site.

The initial release includes 3 and 4-bedroom homes starting from £239,995.

Maes Y Rhos, situated in the heart of Ystradgynlais, is another development by Persimmon Homes West Wales, with a total of 42 plots offering a selection of 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom homes.

Anyone interested in such a plot can visit Clee Tompkinson Estate Agents in the centre of Ystradgynlais where potential homebuyers can explore the various home designs available with members of the Persimmon sales team.

The first release at Maes Y Rhos includes 3 and 5-bedroom homes, starting from £279,995.

Commenting on the two launches, Persimmon West Wales’ Sales Director, Sharon Bouhali, said: “We are thrilled to unveil these two exceptional sites, Awel Y Mynydd and Maes Y Rhos, which offer a range of quality new homes for local people.

“We understand the importance of finding the perfect home, and we believe these developments will provide prospective buyers with a fantastic living experience in desirable locations.

As part of Persimmon’s contribution at Awel Y Mynydd, 20 per cent of the new housing is a low cost option that nominated purchasers can purchase at a discounted value. The housebuilder is also contributing £146,000 to local education services, £50,000 towards local drainage improvements, and provide on-site public open space.

Similarly, the Maes Y Rhos development in Ystradgynlais will see a contribution of £17,500 towards local play area improvements, enhancing the community’s recreational amenities.
