Morris to lead Ospreys amongst eight changes for Stormers URC test

Morgan Morris will captain a much-changed Ospreys side for their United Rugby Championship clash with DHL Stormers tomorrow afternoon in Cape Town.

In a shake up of the front-row, Nicky Smith comes in for international teammate Gareth Thomas at loosehead, with Sam Parry lining up at hooker and Rhys Henry replacing the suspended Tom Botha.

Cheetah Victor Sekekete returns to form a new partnership with Hugh Sutton at lock. Utility man James Ratti moves to six, whilst Harri Deaves will be on the other flank, whilst in form Morris leads the side at eight.

Reuben Morgan-Williams continues at scrum half, where he is partnered at half-back with Dan Edwards at ten. Kieran Williams and Owen Watkin continue their partnership looking after midfield duties at centre.

In an the back three, Max Nagy starts his first game of the calendar year at full-back with the wings occupied by Keelan Giles and Luke Morgan.

In a strong bench Adam Beard is joined by Jack Walsh and returning Cheetahs Jeandre Rudolph and Evardi Boshoff.

“The Stormers are very physical so it’s a big challenge for us. They are a big team with a strong set piece, but they’ve got some good athletes behind and will play an open game. It’s important that we go out and give the best account of ourselves in this one.”
