South Wales Police have reported to the incident on Mumbles Road in Oystermouth in the last hour and have advised motorists to avoid the area.
The road is currently closed in both directions between the roundabout at the White Rose pub and Verdi’s Car park. It is expected to remain closed for some time, the police force has said.
Latest updates suggest that traffic is being stopped from Fairwood Road near West Cross from entering the Mumbles area.
The force has advised motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in this area.
