The Ospreys will begin life at St Helen’s wearing Swansea itself.
The region’s new 2026/27 kits, unveiled today with manufacturer Macron, put the city’s street map on the away shirt, its roads picked out in a teal inspired by the oxidised copper of Swansea’s copperworks heritage.

The home jersey stays with the club’s traditional black, threaded through with bronze castle motifs drawn from the fortresses standing across the Ospreys region, finished with a copper-detailed collar and copper-banded socks.
Both designs, the club says, are built for the season in which the Ospreys make St Helen’s their home, back in the heart of Swansea after a year in Bridgend, in what the co-captains have already called a season of firsts.
“Walking out at St Helen’s for the first time in this kit is going to be a special moment for the whole playing group,” said Ospreys player Dan Edwards.
“The home jersey sums up the resilience of the team, the club and our supporters. There’s a lot of history in the design, but it feels like a jersey for where the Ospreys are going next.
“Having Swansea actually represented within the away shirt makes it feel personal to the club and the people we represent.”
Richard Lancaster, the club’s managing director (business), said the brief was for shirts that told the story of the move.
“The home kit is about strength, heritage and defending your home; the away jersey brings Swansea directly into the design,” he said. “They are very different shirts, but both are unmistakably connected to who we are and where we come from.”

Supporters, meanwhile, may treat the away shirt like a street atlas. “If other supporters are anything like me, the first thing they’ll do is try to find their own house on the design,” said Sam Imray, co-host of The Black Feather Ospreys Fancast.
Both kits are slim fit and made from Macron’s Eco Fabric range, produced entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic, with Designed in Bologna stitched inside the neck.
The shirts are on sale online now, and from Saturday there is somewhere new to buy them in person: the club opens an Ospreys store in Swansea Market on 5 September.
A number of players will be at the market store from 10am on Saturday to meet supporters, with season members getting their usual discount across the new range.
The kit gets its first home outing on 24 October, when the Dragons visit for the Ospreys’ opening fixture at the redeveloped ground.
By then the season will be three games old, starting in Durban against the Sharks on 26 September. Wherever the Ospreys are in the world this year, Swansea will be on their backs.
