Popeyes to open at Swansea city centre location

Global fried chicken brand Popeyes® UK, has announced it will be bringing the bold flavours of New Orleans to Swansea for the first time this autumn, with a new restaurant opening on Oxford Street later this year.

The new restaurant will mark Popeyes® fourth location in Wales following the success of its existing Welsh sites in Cardiff and Newport. Fans in the capital queued for over 16 hours on opening day to be one of the first to try the legendary Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich. 

Swansea residents will be able to dine in or takeaway from the new restaurant, and enjoy a taste of the full Popeyes® menu, including fan-favourites like the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps.

Popeyes® will also be serving up its full breakfast menu at the new restaurant, packed with British breakfast classics combined with a New Orleans twist, the menu features the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk Biscuits.

Ahead of the opening day, fried chicken fans in Swansea can enter for the chance of winning one of its world-famous Chicken Sandwiches by signing up via the Popeyes® UK website.
