A Skewen man who tried to get into a Swansea music event at Singleton Park to sell wraps of cocaine has been sentenced.
20 year-old Ady Ali was stopped trying to enter the Escape in the Park dance music festival in Singleton Park on Sunday 25 September last year.
South Wales Police said that Ali was ‘picked out’ by one of their drugs sniffer dogs as part of a routine search.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said Ali was “escorted to the drugs tent and was asked to show his waist band which contained a small black pouch.
“The pouch was searched and inside contained 12 small clear snap seal bags containing white powder.
“The white powder was forensically examined and confirmed to be cocaine.”
Ady Ali received a sentence of 2 years and 8 months after being found guilty at court.
