Swansea company wins two top energy awards
Swansea company Consumer Energy Solutions walked off with two top prizes at the Wales Energy Efficiency Awards.

The company – the largest installer of renewable heat and solar PV measures in Wales – took the Regional Renewable Heat Installer or Contractor of the Year award.
It also won the Regional Insulation and Fabric Installer or Contractor of the Year award at the event in Cardiff on February 10th.
Eleven awards were handed out at the glittering awards ceremony at the Voco St David’s Cardiff, attended by individuals and companies throughout Wales that are involved in the energy efficiency industry.
Energy Efficiency Awards chairman Gary Braybrooke said: “Wales has produced some true pioneers in the past and those working in the energy efficiency industry are carrying out some of the most vital work in the UK today.
“Our nominees and winners deserve all the plaudits they receive because of their hard work and ingenuity as we seek to make our regions – and ultimately the UK as a whole – as energy efficient as possible, saving energy and driving down bills.”
Events organiser Kenneth Campbell said: “Our regional events celebrate the effort and endeavour of everyone in the sector and those, often unsung, heroes driving forward energy efficiency in homes and businesses.
“The Welsh awards is the first of our regional events of 2023 and we hope to see some strong Welsh representation at our national awards in September.”
