Dogs Day Out returns to Margam Country Park this weekend

Dog owners are being invited on a day out at Margam Country Park as part of pet food supplier Burns Pet Nutrition's annual event.

The event, which has been running for over 10 years, will be taking place at Margam Country Park on Sunday 19 May.

Organisers say the fun day out is totally free, and all are welcome.

Those attending will be treated to a fun-packed day of doggy classes, adventures and entertainment. Guests and their loveable pooches will mix with thousands of adorable dogs and their pet parents together.

Guests will join in activities with fellow passionate pet owners which will include a mix of fun pet contests, dog shows, a play zone, various demonstrations and a group walk. A range of independent pet trade and charity stalls will also be on show throughout the day and Burns professional pet nutritionists will be on hand for free pet advice.  

Burns Pet Nutrition’s Dogs Day Out has been running for over 10 years

Burns Pet Nutrition Manager Laura Crotch Harvey said: “We are thrilled to return with our annual Burns Dogs’ Day Out and we promise to put on an even bigger event than previous years. Both pooches and their owners will be sure to love the day we have planned for them.” 

Organisers say that no tickets are needed, just turn up on the day to enjoy Burns Dogs’ Day Out 2024. Parking charges may apply at Margam County Park.
