A fourth person has been charged in connection with the death of 18-year-old Ceiran Evans in Gorseinon, South Wales Police said.

Trisha Thomas, 36, from Gorseinon, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Wednesday morning and has now been charged with the same offence.

Mr Evans, from Gorseinon, died following a collision between a car and an off-road motorbike on Pen Cae Crwn Road at around 1pm on Thursday 9 July.

Tyler Ford, 18, from Morriston, was charged with his murder and with the attempted murder of a second person two days after the collision.

Elliot Truelove, 33, from West Cross, and Liam Thomas, 18, from Morriston, were later charged with both murder and attempted murder in connection with the same incident.

Mr Ford appeared at Swansea Crown Court in July, where a two-week trial was fixed for January.

Police said Mr Ford, Mr Thomas and Mr Truelove will appear at Swansea Crown Court on 29 September.

Mr Evans’s death prompted an outpouring of grief in Gorseinon, with hundreds of riders joining a memorial ride-out through the town in his memory.

The case continues.
