Morgan back in to start for Ospreys amongst three changes for Dragons clash

Wales co-captain Jac Morgan will make his first Ospreys start in five months as head-coach Toby Booth has made three changes for their crucial United Rugby Championship match against the Dragons at the Swansea.com Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

In a shake up of the front-row, Tom Botha comes back in at three for Rhys Henry, whilst Wales duo Nicky Smith and Dewi Lake retain their places.

Utility man James Ratti continues his partnership with Hugh Sutton at lock. Morgan is back in at six, with captain Justin Tipuric occupying the other flank. In form Morgan Morris continues at eight.

Reuben Morgan-Williams starts at scrum-half and is partnered at half-back with exciting youngster Dan Edwards at ten. Kieran Williams and Owen Watkin continue their partnership looking after midfield duties at centre.

There is one change to the back three with Jack Walsh in for Max Nagy at full-back with the wings occupied by Keelan Giles and Luke Morgan.

In a strong bench, Wales internationals Sam Parry and Gareth Thomas are joined by youngster Tom Florence who penned a new deal with the region this week.

“We have been competitive in our effort and performances this season and we’ll be striving for that level in this game.

“Not only is this week a Welsh derby, it’s an opportunity to put ourselves in the best position we can to qualify for the play-offs.

“I think it would be a huge achievement for us to make the play-offs and we are still in with an opportunity to do that with two games to go. We are still alive.”
