Organisers say there’ll be a stilt walker in Victorian outfit, a Christmas tree trail and Christmas carols.
The community’s Victorian Day 2023, from 10am on Saturday (25 November), will also feature attractions such as circus workshops, brass band music, Santa’s grotto and a barrel organ.
Organised by Swansea Council, the event is being funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It’s due to take place the day after Morriston’s Christmas lights switch-on and parade.
As well as street entertainment, venues hosting Victorian Day activities will include shared workspace at 65 Woodfield Street, the Sacred Heart Centre, Morriston Library, St David’s Church and Morriston Tabernacle Chapel.

Council cabinet member Robert Francis-Davies said: “A detailed Victorian Day programme is now available around the community – and excitement is growing.
“This family friendly event – being held for the third consecutive year – helps generate a festive atmosphere and creates more business for Morriston businesses.
“The theme is especially appropriate for Morriston considering the town’s growth in the Victorian era and the presence of so much Victorian architecture there.”
No road closures will be in place for the big day.
