The Ospreys will wear a new dark blue European kit, with an outline of St Helen’s on the collar, when they play their first Challenge Cup game at the ground in December.
The 2026/27 Euro kit, made by Macron, will be worn for the first time against Harlequins at St Helen’s on Saturday 12 December (1pm).
That means it won’t be seen in Tbilisi on Saturday, when the Ospreys open their Challenge Cup campaign against Black Lion.
Blue and silver, built like armour
The shirt has a dark blue base, with a geometric pattern in different shades of blue across the front, back and sleeves, picked out with silver.
Macron says the comic-book-inspired design is meant to echo a suit of armour.
The Ospreys crest and the Macron Hero logo sit side by side in silver in the middle of the chest. The crew neck is trimmed in blue and silver.
St Helen’s on the collar
The outline of the St Helen’s stadium is printed on the neck, in the Ospreys’ first season at the rebuilt ground.
There’s an embossed Ospreys crest on the lower back. The label inside the neck carries the words Designed in Bologna, where Macron is based.
The kit is finished off with dark blue shorts with blue and silver side panels, and blue socks with a lighter band between two dark ones.
‘A shirt made for the big nights’
“Every now and then a kit comes along that the players can’t wait to pull on, and this is one of them,” said Richard Lancaster, the Ospreys’ managing director (business).
“It’s bold, it’s got real attitude, and it feels like a shirt made for the big nights. Macron have done a brilliant job; we can’t wait to see it out on the pitch and in the stands.”
The third new shirt of the season
It’s the Ospreys’ third new shirt this season. The home and away kits were launched in September, when the away shirt put Swansea’s street map on the front.
Like those, it’s a slim fit. Macron says it’s made from fabrics produced from 100% recycled plastic.
Where to buy the Ospreys Euro kit
The kit is on sale now at shop.ospreysrugby.com and in the club section of macron.com.
It went on sale in person on Wednesday at the Ospreys shop in Swansea Market.
The Ospreys’ other home game in the pool stage is against Vannes at St Helen’s on Saturday 16 January (8pm).
