A huge weekend of food, music and family entertainment is heading to the Carmarthenshire coast as Street Food Circus brings its Summer Feastival back to Pembrey Country Park over the Summer Solstice weekend.
The three‑day event, running from 19–21 June, will see the travelling collective of nomadic cooks set up camp between the park’s woodland and the eight‑mile stretch of Cefn Sidan beach, creating what organisers describe as the “ultimate summer escape”.
This year’s Feastival includes a new partnership with BBC Wales, with the event hosting a BBC Horizons live music stage showcasing emerging Welsh artists throughout the weekend.
Families will also be able to enjoy a packed programme of entertainment, including the ‘World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle’, Attack! Mexican Wrestling, Chris Bullzini’s high‑wire show and the Incredibly Clever Canine Circus.

There will be hands‑on crafting sessions with the Let’s Make Art collective, a free circus school, and the chaotic Kiss My Putt crazy golf course. For adults, a new Indie Collectives market will showcase Welsh makers and designers, alongside a Big Top Picnic featuring local food producers and Bull Axe Throwing for those seeking something more adventurous.
As the sun sets over the Carmarthenshire coastline, the Feastival will shift into a more relaxed, evening atmosphere with live music, slower beats and a fiery finale from the Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners.

A feast of flavours
This year’s culinary line‑up includes award‑winning traders such as The Dough Thrower with their 72‑hour fermented wood‑fired pizzas, Pasta a Mano’s handmade Welsh‑inspired pasta, and Mar Y Fuego’s fire‑to‑plate seafood.
They’ll be joined by a world of flavours including Afghan BBQ from Two Lads Kitchen, Zimbabwean and South African dishes from Mabiko, Venezuelan arepas from The Queen Pepiada, and Canadian comfort food from Poutine Punks.
Desserts come courtesy of Churros Hermanos, Paletas fruit ice lollies and Drizzle’s disco dessert truck, while drinks will be served by Welsh brewers Tiny Rebel, SFC’s Bobo Bar, Lola’s Cocktails and The Lemonade Stand.

‘The ultimate summer escape’
Street Food Circus founder Matt ‘the Hat’ said Pembrey Country Park was the perfect setting for their biggest event of the season.
“Pembrey Country Park is our biggest event of the season, and it’s a truly spectacular location,” he said.
“We’re bringing the best of Welsh street food and a circus‑full of entertainment and activities for kids and big kids alike.
“With an on‑site campsite, people don’t have to rush home. You can have a beach stroll in the morning, explore the Feastival and park adventures like the toboggan, miniature railway or dry ski slope by day, and let the music drift you into a warm summer evening.”
He added that this year’s event will feature even more food, more music and the launch of the Little Kooks Clwb, a new activity club for children that includes a backpack of challenges and foodie inspiration to take home.
