Police appeal for witnesses to motorcycle crash on Fabian Way

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward who were at the scene of a serious road traffic collision between a blue Volkswagen Passat and a motorcycle on Fabian Way in Swansea yesterday morning (August 9) at around 9.40am.

Fabian Way was closed for a number of hours near Britton Ferry while emergency services responded to the incident with the 48-year-old motorcyclist, hospitalised with serious injuries from the collision.

Sergeant Balzano from the Roads Policing Unit said:

“ We want to thank those members of the public who spoke with us at the scene and want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision who hasn’t yet spoken to officers.

“Motorists who were in the area at the time are also urged to check for dashcam footage of the incident.”
