Britain’s Got Talent winner Harry Moulding is coming to Swansea this Christmas, headlining four nights of magic at the Patti Pavilion between Christmas and New Year.

The Blackpool magician, who won the 2025 series of the ITV show, joins the cast of Phenomenal, the stage magic show created in the city by producer Taylor Morgan, from Sunday 27 to Wednesday 30 December.

It is the show’s third run at the Patti Pavilion after its debut last year. A four-night return in August brought a European Champion of Magic and the Magic Circle’s only Triple Crown winner to the city.

Moulding was crowned Britain’s Got Talent champion in May last year, a win that came with a £250,000 prize and a slot on the Royal Variety Performance.

He said Swansea at Christmas was the right fit: “I’m so excited to be joining Phenomenal this Christmas! There’s no better time of year to bring people together and create a little magic.”

He added: “I think we’ve got something really special in store. I can’t wait for everyone to experience it!”

The producers say the Christmas run comes with an updated cast and new material, and follows messages from August audiences asking when the show would be back. They say earlier runs have included sold-out performances.

The show mixes stage illusions with mind-reading, storytelling and comedy, and is pitched at families, couples and first-timers as much as magic fans.

Morgan, who grew up in Swansea and has performed around the world, said the response so far had been encouraging: “Receiving such glowing reviews and hearing from audiences asking when we’re coming back has made this next step even more exciting.”

He said having Moulding on the bill was “a fantastic opportunity to build on that support and bring the show back to Swansea this Christmas”.

He added: “We can see a really exciting future for Phenomenal, and we want Swansea to remain at the heart of that. We hope this Christmas run will be another step towards making the show something people look forward to returning to.”

The Patti Pavilion: a new look for the 1920 hall

The venue itself is changing. Last month The Patti said it is to open seven days a week with a new look, new seating and drinks offers, and an eye on the rugby crowd at the rebuilt St Helen’s next door.

The Grade II-listed hall began life as opera star Adelina Patti’s winter garden at Craig-y-Nos and was rebuilt in Victoria Park in 1920. Morgan has said his own great-grandmother used to go there to dance.

The producers say the cross-generation appeal is what previous audiences have liked most, with one describing it as a show the whole family could enjoy together.

Phenomenal runs at the Patti Pavilion from 27 to 30 December, with tickets via Wonder Live Shows.
