Swansea Bay News carries public notices from councils, contractors, utilities, developers, housing associations and community organisations across Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire.
What we can and cannot carry
Swansea Bay News is a digital-only title. Where a notice has to be published in a newspaper circulating in the area, a placement with us will not satisfy that requirement and should not be relied on for it.
We carry notices that are not bound by that requirement, and supplementary placements that run alongside a print notice. Responsibility for making sure a placement meets any legal or regulatory requirement rests with the advertiser.
Notices we regularly carry include:
- Roadworks, closures and scheme information
- Consultations and community engagement exercises
- Service and timetable changes
- Community and town council announcements
- Tenders and recruitment
- Corporate and utility notices
What you get
- A dedicated page carrying your notice copy in full
- Live for the whole booked period, at its own permanent address
- Listed in our public notices section and indexed so it can be found by place name and scheme
- A plain English summary line written by us, so readers know at a glance where it applies and what it concerns
- Promotion from our homepage for the first seven days
- View figures at the end of the run on request
Rates
28 days: £250
14 days: £175
Copy is supplied by you. These prices are the total payable.
How to book
Email advertising@swanseabaynews.com with your notice copy, the dates you need and the area or scheme it relates to. We will come back to you the same day, and can usually have a notice live within 24 hours of copy being confirmed.
Editorial independence
Public notices are paid placements. They are clearly labelled, kept out of our news feeds and carry no journalist byline. Placing a notice with us has no bearing on how we report the scheme or the organisation it concerns.
