Lee Trundle turns 50 on Saturday, the day the Swans host Norwich City, and the club is marking it by putting two supporters on the pitch at half-time to do their best impression of him.
The Magic Daps Skills Challenge is a three-part test judged by Trundle himself, with the winner taking two places in the LT10 Lounge for a future game as his guests.
The club says a generation of fans has spent decades trying to copy his tricks in back gardens, parks and playgrounds. Now the invitation is to try them on the Swansea.com Stadium pitch.
The three skills
First: throw the ball up and complete a shoulder roll.
Second: freestyle your way around a cone using your favourite Trundle moment.
Third: score a penalty into the Pure Football goal while pretending to tie your shoelace.
The club says the winner will be chosen on skill, not speed, and the two entrants will be collected by the fan engagement team about five minutes before half-time.
Entrants must be 18 or over and hold a valid ticket for Saturday’s game.
The prize
The winner’s two places in the LT10 Lounge come with a one-course hot buffet before the game, tea, coffee and cakes at half-time, premium seating, a post-match quiz and a souvenir lanyard, with signed merchandise up for grabs in lounge competitions.
The club has also lined up gifts from its kit supplier Joma for a handful of supporters through the matchday.
86 goals, three hat-tricks in a row and a £1m move
Liverpool-born Trundle joined the Swans from Wrexham in 2003 and scored 86 goals in 173 games over four seasons, including hat-tricks in three consecutive league matches, something no other Swansea player has done.
He left for Bristol City in a £1m move in 2007 and came back on loan for the 2009-10 season, and has been a club ambassador since 2013.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 12.30pm, with the Swans top of the Championship after eight games and unbeaten at home in the league this season.
