Three changes for Ospreys as Cuthbert set for first start in a year

Wales wing Alex Cuthbert is amongst three changes to the Ospreys United Rugby Championship XV to face Edinburgh at the Hive tomorrow night.

23.10.21 - Ospreys v Munster - United Rugby Championship - Alex Cuthbert of Ospreys is tackled by Jack Crowley and Peter O’Mahony of Munster.

Without Morgan Morse, Ospreys head coach Toby Booth has also handed a debut to South African Jeandre Rudolph, whilst Luke Davies comes in at scrum-half for Reuben Morgan-Williams in the other two alterations to the team that dramatically beat Ulster last time out.

Justin Tipuric once again skipper’s the side

The returning injury trio of Morgan Morris, Rhys Davies and Owen Williams will look for minutes from the bench as they build up match fitness.

The front three is unchanged with Nicky Smith starting with Sam Parry and Tom Botha.

James Ratti partners on loan Cheetah Victor Sekekete at lock. Fans player of the month Harri Deaves lines up at six, with Tipuric on the other flank, whilst Rudolph is at eight.

Davies gets the start at scrum half, with Dan Edwards partnering him at 10 off the back of his heroics against Ulster. Without George North and Owen Watkin, Keiran Williams lines up at inside centre with Evardi Boshoff.

In the back three, Jack Walsh starts at full back, with Keelan Giles on one wing and the returning Cuthbert on the other.
