The incident, which took place on Friday morning (5 January) saw the victim physically assaulted before her purse, containing bank cards, coins and photos was stolen.
Jessica Black, 31, and Georgina Williams, 34, both from Swansea, have been charged with robbery.
They are due to appear before Swansea Magistrates Court today (Monday 8th January).
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Owens from South Wales Police said: “Incidents like this will not be tolerated in our community. We have acted quickly to bring two suspects into custody, and the victim is being supported by family.
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”
