Swansea’s Coastal Housing Group has added 96 homes at Caswell and Dunvant to its portfolio, following a stock review by Wales & West Housing Association.

Bids for the homes were invited in February of this year, with Coastal ultimately winning out in a selection process that involved residents of Wales & West Housing as well as staff and board members.

Both organisations say they’ve been working through the transfer process in consultation with residents since spring and this completed on Monday 12th September.

“We’re delighted to welcome residents to Coastal following this successful transfer”, said Coastal’s Finance Director Simon Jones.

“Both locations are in areas of Swansea that Coastal already operates, meaning residents will benefit from our local presence and can be certain we’ll maintain the high standards of service they are used to receiving from Wales & West Housing.”
