A body has been found in the search for a missing 80-year-old Swansea woman.
Jagdish Randhawa, from the Mount Pleasant area of the city, was reported missing last week, prompting a public appeal from South Wales Police.
She was last seen at around 1pm on Tuesday, May 26, getting on a bus at Swansea bus station, carrying a white bin bag and a walking stick.
In an update on Thursday, the force said officers searching for Ms Randhawa had located a body in the Dyfed-Powys Police force area.
A coronial process is now under way to verify a DNA match, police said, and Ms Randhawa’s next of kin has been informed.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police thanked the public for sharing the appeal to help find her.
Formal identification has not yet been confirmed.
