An important part of the title winning side of 2017 Jones, 32, departs Parc y Scarlets having featured 136 times since his debut in 2014 going on to hold the number one jersey for Wales and the Lions on their tour to South Africa in 2021.
Former Wales Centre Scott Williams is also leaving the region. A veteran of 161 Scarlets appearances, and along with Jones, part of the side that lifted the PRO12 title seven. Williams time in Llanelli will be remembered for his 26 tries, including a memorable score in the Champions Cup quarter-final victory over La Rochelle in 2018.
Another player with over ten years experience at the club, fly-half Dan Jones moves to pastures new having become a peripheral figure in the first-team this season, whilst wing Ryan Conbeer has also been released from Parc y Scarlets.

Centre Jonathan Davies revealed his exit earlier this week, while full-back Johnny McNicholl has already returned to New Zealand to join Crusaders.
Hooker Ken Owens and prop Samson Lee have also announced their retirements in the last few months, while scrum-half Kieran Hardy and prop Steff Thomas are joining Ospreys next season.
Flanker Iwan Shenton, hooker Eduan Swart and prop Joe Jones are also leaving Scarlets, alongside academy members Lewis Morgan, Luca Giannini, Callum Williams and Iestyn Gwilliam.

“We would like to thank each player and each member of staff for the work, pride and commitment they have shown to the Scarlets during their time here. They can all be proud of the way they have represented this club and we wish them all well for whatever comes next.”
