The 832,000 sq ft fulfilment centre in Swansea Bay opened its doors in 2007, creating jobs for up to 1,700 people in the local area.

Emma Varnals, who has worked at the Swansea fulfilment centre since it opened, said: “I started out working for Amazon in London back in 2002, and moved to the Swansea site when it opened in 2007, alongside my partner Darren. We’re both still here today and have enjoyed every minute. It’s been nice to get involved with the community on many occasions over the years, too. I’m pleased to be celebrating this 15-year milestone with the team.”

In 2023, we are excited to continue delivering smiles to our customers in Swansea and beyond.”
