Morriston Primary School boosted by Amazon donation

Staff and pupils at Morriston Primary School have received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in the city.

Staff and pupils at Morriston Primary School have received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in the city.

Morriston Primary School say the donation from Amazon will go towards supporting the further development of the school’s outdoor learning resources.

Speaking on the donation, Christopher Law, General Manager at Amazon in Swansea, said: “Amazon in Swansea is home to many of the mums, dads, and guardians of Morriston Primary School pupils. We’re very pleased to make this donation to such a fantastic school in our community that offers the best possible education for children.”

Aleksandra Dobosz, an employee at Amazon in Swansea who nominated the school for support, added: “My daughter attends Morriston Primary School and receives a great education there. I’m so pleased to hear that Amazon has made this donation and know it will be warmly welcomed by everyone at the school.”

Alison Thomas, Headteacher at Morriston Primary School added: “We are excited to receive this donation and would like to thank Christopher and the Amazon team in Swansea for the support. The donation will help us continue to improve our school’s rich curriculum, supporting pupils to reach their full potential.”

The donation to Morriston Primary School was made as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
