Swansea City ended their Austrian training camp on a high, beating Serie A side Udinese 2-0 in their final friendly of the trip.
Wales international Liam Cullen and new signing Elijah Just scored the goals at Fussballplatz Mittersill, either side of a heavily rotated line-up.
Vitor Matos named a strong first-choice side for the test against Italian opposition, and they were ahead inside six minutes.
Cullen was the man to strike, finishing composedly after being sent through one-on-one.
The Swans’ second came late from Elijah Just, the New Zealand international cutting inside before rifling in a left-footed effort from the edge of the penalty area on his first appearance in a Swansea shirt.
Just only joined from Motherwell on Wednesday, and gave an early glimpse of the finishing that brought him three goals at this summer’s World Cup.
He was one of three players introduced at the break, alongside fellow new arrival Joseph Opoku and midfielder Marko Stamenic.
Matos rotated further as the game wore on, with Andy Fisher, Cameron Congreve, Josh Key, Leo Walta, Thomas Woodward, Sam Parker and Carter Heywood all given minutes.
The win rounds off a mixed camp in Austria for the Swans.
They opened with a 2-2 draw against Holstein Kiel before falling to a 2-0 defeat by VfL Bochum, with Matos using that game to hand extensive minutes to academy players.
Beating a Serie A club to finish gives the squad something to take home as the competitive season closes in.
Swansea have one more warm-up to come, against Spanish side Leganes at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, 1 August, kicking off at 3pm.
Competitive action follows a week later, when the Swans host Birmingham City in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Saturday, 8 August.
Their Championship campaign then gets under way away at Stoke City on Saturday, 15 August, also a 3pm start.
With two new attacking signings already on the scoresheet or in the squad, Matos will hope the Austria trip has laid the groundwork for the season ahead.
