Swansea City squad numbers 2026-27: full list and new signings

Six new signings learn their numbers, shirt printing opens, and one number stays out of circulation, as it has for fifteen years.

Swansea City have confirmed the men’s squad numbers for the 2026-27 season, with every returning player keeping his number from last year.

The number 20 shirt has a new owner: Benfica loanee Tiago Parente inherits it from Liam Cullen, who left for Leicester this summer after 19 years at the club.

The other new signings slot in around him. Elijah Just takes 8, Stephen Welsh 23, Joseph Opoku 30, Ross Stewart 31 and Moussa Yeo 49.

Carter Heywood, who signed his first professional deal last week, wears 50.

Andy Fisher keeps the number one shirt, with Lawrence Vigouroux at 22 and Evan Watts at 39 among the goalkeepers, and Paul Farman at 29.

Jay Fulton stays at 4 and Ben Cabango at 5, with Žan Vipotnik at 9, Jisung Eom at 10 and Adam Idah at 33.

One number is missing from the list, as it has been from every list since 2011.

The number 40 is retired in memory of Besian Idrizaj, the striker who died in his sleep in May 2010 aged just 22, and the club has kept it out of circulation ever since.

Shirt printing is now open at The Foundry and online, with the current squad’s names and numbers or supporters’ own choices.

The club’s small print is worth reading before paying for a name: all squad names and numbers remain subject to change until the transfer window closes at the end of the month, and the club won’t accept liability if a player changes number or leaves.

Personalised shirts also can’t be refunded or exchanged.

The Foundry opens 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, running to kick-off on midweek matchdays and 5.30pm on Saturday matchdays, with Sunday opening through August only.
