The long trip to Treviso, the first of back-to-back fixtures with the Italian region sees nine changes from the side that beat Scarlets in the West Wales derby 31-9 at the Swansea.com Stadium last Sunday.

Morgan Morris will once again hold the captain’s armband for the side for the second successive week in absence of Justin Tipuric.

The forward line consists of Gareth Thomas who earns a start at loosehead, with Cheetah’s loanee, South African Marnus Van Der Merwe lining up at hooker alongside Rhys Henry in the front three.

James Fender partners with Rhys Davies at lock. Wales under-20-star Tristan Davies lines up at six, with Harri Deaves returning to the team on the other flank, with Morris starting at eight.

Luke Davies lines up at scrum half, with fly-half Dan Edwards preferred to make his first start at 10 following on from his try scoring debut last week.

Keiran Williams will look to build on his good form which saw two tries last weekend at centre where he will be joined by Luke Scully for the first time this season.

In the back three, Max Nagy starts at full back, with Luke Morgan and Iestyn Hopkins on the wings.

The bench sees a few young faces, including exciting prospects Harri Houston, Lewis Jones and Morgan Morse.

Owen Williams also returns to action on the bench after returning from injury.
