Swansea City announce new shirt sponsor
Swansea City AFC have announced Reviva Coffee as their new front of shirt sponsor in a multi-year deal.
In addition to showcasing the coffee brand on the club’s home shirt for the 2023-24 Championship season, the agreement also includes an exclusive supply arrangement; with Reviva Coffee being served to fans across the Swansea.com Stadium, on the concourses, in hospitality areas, and for business conferences.
The UK coffee brand, owned by Gulf Oil International, expects to launch globally in 2024. Its signature blend is made from 100% Arabica beans responsibly sourced from Rainforest Alliance farms in South America.
This partnership also marks a nostalgic reunion for Swansea City and Gulf Oil, Swansea’s front-of-shirt sponsor from 1993 to 1996, including for the club’s historic 1994 Autoglass Trophy victory at Wembley Stadium.
The Swans say the iconic kits from that era continue to resonate with supporters. Fan favourites such as Roger Freestone, Jan Molby, Jason Bowen, Kristian O’Leary and Kwame Ampadu were among the players to wear those eye-catching designs, and Swansea City and Gulf say they are planning some special activations during the upcoming season to celebrate their shared history.
“We are thrilled to have Reviva Coffee prominently featured on the front of our home shirt throughout this multi-year agreement,” said Swansea City’s head of commercial, Richard Morris.
“This new addition to our partnership portfolio opens up opportunities for innovative activations that will resonate positively with our supporters.”
“We are excited to reunite with Gulf, a globally recognised former club partner, and we look forward to building on the success of our original link-up 30 years ago,” Morris added.
“Joining their prestigious list of associated sporting brands is a testament to the growth and ambition of Swansea City.”
Reviva Coffee and Gulf CEO Mike Jones spoke of his enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “We are delighted to support Swansea City as they continue their journey. This collaboration presents an excellent opportunity for us to engage with a passionate fanbase and contribute to the club’s success both on and off the pitch.”
