Swansea jeweller reveals limited edition BBC Children in Need collection
Family jeweller F.Hinds, Swansea has revealed its new Pudsey collection in partnership with BBC Children in Need, this week.
This year’s collection will be launching in stores across the UK on Friday 21 October and includes an Alarm Clock (£16.99), a Trinket Box (£14.99) and a Money Box in the shape of Pudsey (£14.99), items will be available to purchase in store and online; 35% from the sale of each product will be donated to BBC Children in Need.
Project leader and Head of Marketing Natasha House said, “We are so excited to be releasing our very first range of products for BBC Children in Need. The charity is close to all of our hearts, and we are so happy to give it the focus that it deserves. We can’t wait to see how the funds from this partnership will go on to support the lives for children and young people across the UK.”
F.Hinds’ partnership with BBC Children in Need started in 2021 by selling Pudsey pin badges across their stores, and accepted donations on behalf of BBC Children in Need, to support the lives of children and young people across the UK. Following the success of 2021, this year F.Hinds has created three limited edition Pudsey products.
Speaking of the partnership, BBC Children in Need Commercial Director, Claire Hoyle said: “Together with partners like F.Hinds and Chapelle BBC Children in Need can inspire the nation to come together and support our work to provide a better and more positive future for children and young people. The 2022 Pudsey Collection captures the spirit of BBC Children in Need and will make a great impact on the high street.”
The family-owned jeweller had a humble start in Stamford in 1856. Now, in 2022, the jeweller is still independent and family run, operating 115 F.Hinds stores and 13 Chapelle outlet stores across England and Wales. Having survived two World Wars, numerous financial crashes and Covid, the family business shows no signs of slowing with new store openings, relocations and refits taking place frequently within the business.
BBC Children in Need’s vision is that every child across the UK has the opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be, and are currently supporting over 2,300 local charities and projects in communities across the UK that are helping children and young people facing a range of disadvantages such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma
The BBC Children In Need Pudsey products will launch in all F.Hinds and Chapelle stores, and online, from 21 October. F.Hinds and Chapelle will be accepting donations and selling Pudsey pin badges throughout October and November.
